WHAT TYPE OF WRITING DO YOU DO?
I specialize in writing value-driven content that seamlessly persuades and touches on the emotional, then rational sides of consumers, pulling them into my copy to convert traffic into sales.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WRITING?
I first realized I wanted to be a writer in the 6th grade. The school talent show was fast approaching, and we had to contribute to our project groups what we could bring to the table (or, eh…stage!).
I went home that night, pulled out a pencil and notepad and began what turned out to be my very first writing piece.
Unfortunately, the school talent show was inevitably canceled, but since that day, I have never been able to out down the pen!
WHY COPYWRITING?
Copywriting allows me to share with others through my website education and information about the mindfulness industry – what’s happening, what’s trending, how we can all benefit from it in our lives.
It’s also a form of writing that I enjoy creating.
DO YOU DO THE WORK YOURSELF, OR DO YOU OUTSOURCE?
I do all the work myself except the graphic design and layout and design. I’m a writer, so I tend to stick with what I know best.
If you don’t have your own individual that handles that, I can source and refer a skilled designer to do that for you. (And if you do, I am happy to work with them!)
WHAT DO YOU SPECIALIZE IN?
I specialize in writing and design projects for the self-care and mindfulness industries. Since this field includes so many different inclusive branches of interest, I include several businesses that offer a less stressful life in today’s world.
Some of those include florists, website designers, wedding planners, spas, yoga studios, life coaches and more.
Each of these helps to alleviate anxiety to some level in our lives, so I decided to include them in my repertoire of writing topics about their offerings that enlighten, destress, and educate my readers in a multitude of ways.
WHAT GOT YOU INTERESTED IN WRITING FOR THE SELF CARE INDUSTRY? WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO BECOME A COPYWRITER?
I grew up thinking I would write novels to help people get beyond their challenges in life. When I found copywriting, I realized it was a more expansive method of helping others.
There’s a real need for the broadening of self-care/self-help information to more people in the world. Mental health is such a huge subject these days.
I am fortunate to be able to use my writing to educate, assist, empower, and encourage those learning about this subject.
Peace of mind, less stress and anxiety, handling life in general are things that come up on a daily basis in life.
These are all inclusive of the industry that I write for.

During our discovery call, I’ll give you access to review my samples where you can see different writing pieces I have done including e-newsletters, editorial calendars, e-newsletter sign-up sequences, blogs, and the various different types of those writings.
DO YOU HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH PRINTING COMPANIES, LIST SUPPLIERS, OR MAIL HOUSES? DO YOU OFFER PRINTED NEWSLETTERS?
Since all of the work I do is digital, I work directly with you or your marketing team and graphic designer.
My aim is to not only provide outstanding copywriting content for your business, but also to do it in a way that costs you a lot less!
Providing specifically digital content allows for that to happen while still satisfying the content needs for your business.
However, I can create content for print newsletter as well if that’s what you’re needing. I added visual and text samples of what those deliverables would look like on my Samples page.
WHAT PROGRAMS DO YOU UTILIZE WHEN WRITING? DO YOU USE A MAC OR A PC?
I write on a PC, and I utilize Microsoft Office for my writing program.
DO YOU UTILIZE AI FOR YOUR BUSINESS?
I use AI to assist me with faster research for my writing. All of the content I produce, however, is my own creation.
What I send to you will never be what I could pull from AI. I work on my content creation as a human expert!
Sales are driven by emotion. That’s something AI just doesn’t understand.
Emotions drive sales.
They make us feel good about something.
They give us comfort and that warm feeling inside.
They show us what we could have, or do, or provide, or become.
Customers buy things because they make them feel good.
Emotions, personal stories, feelings…all of these things are nonexistent with AI.
CAN YOU HELP ME BUILD UP MY CLIENT E-MAIL “LIST”?
Yes, I can. In fact, that’s a service I provide with digital newsletters!
When a reader clicks on the Subscribe button on your website, their email address and name will be added to your content management system that your team oversees.
That builds your client e-mail list right there. Every click is another individual interested in what you have to offer, which in turn grows your list.
WHAT KIND OF TURNAROUND TIME CAN I EXPECT?
Turnaround times depend heavily on what kind of copywriting you’re looking for. Also, if the project is multi-faceted and involves several services, that will be different from a project with a single service.
During our discovery call, we will discuss more about what kind of turnaround time you are looking for.
DO YOU HAVE A METHOD FOR ENSURING THE PROJECT GOES SMOOTHLY?
Yes, I do. I follow a specific process from start to finish to provide you with continual communication, professional content, and confidence that things will get done the way you want them to be done.

My area of focus is in the self-care/self-help industry, so I that’s what I write about while branching out into the closely-knit businesses that contribute to and support that.

Absolutely! First, I would have to say that I am extremely thorough. In fact, if you take a look at my CONTACT page, you’ll notice that I ask several specific questions and cover all areas of content writing to better assist my clients.
I am also very down to earth and keep a friendly tone and “voice” throughout my writing. This makes the audience feel important, valued, and listened to.
I also follow a process with my writing. It’s very specific, organized, and just makes sense when dealing with so many moving parts as are involved in the writing business.

CAN YOU COMPLETE A MARKETNG PROJECT FROM BEGINNING TO END INCLUDING COPY, LAYOUT, AND DESIGN?
If you don’t have a graphic designer/layout artist on your team, I can provide a skilled designer to help you with that part of the project.

WHAT IF I NEED REVISIONS?
I provide two free revisions per project, so if you want something revised, just let me know!
WHAT ARE YOUR RATES? WHAT DOES THAT INCLUDE? HOW DO YOU COME UP WITH THE RATES YOU CHARGE?
Once you fill out the Interest Form on my CONTACT page, I will know better what services you are looking for and what your budget is for the project.
Once that happens, I will be able to email you a range of my pricing for various services with any follow-up questions I will need at that point. I’ll also send you my available Discovery Call time slots so you can let me know when we can schedule a call.
Once we have our Discovery Call, I will then consider the services you are needing and send you my fee in a formal project proposal.
My fees are based on annually researched State of the Industry pricing for the copywriting industry, my experience, my education, the type of projects I am completing and the timeframe I have to complete them.
WHAT IS A DISCOVERY CALL AND WHY DO WE NEED TO HAVE ONE?
The Discovery Call is important because it allows us to get to know one another a little better. It tells me more about what your copywriting services needs are, what I can do for you considering your budget, and if we will be a good fit or not.
It also lets me understand more about your tone as a business owner and that lets me carry your “voice” over to the marketing pieces I provide.
I schedule my Discovery Calls in 30-minute sessions, and they are at no charge to you.
DO YOU CHARGE MORE FOR “RUSH” JOBS? I HAVE A TIGHT DEADLINE AND NEED TO KNOW IF YOU CAN START RIGHT AWAY!
As with anything needing immediate attention, I will definitely see what my schedule looks like for other projects.
If I can squeeze you in between other jobs, I charge an additional “rush” fee on top of my normal rate for the project.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO REACH YOU?
If we have never done a copywriting project together, the best way to reach me is to fill out the Interest Form on my CONTACT page, then have a discovery call with me once I email you my available time slots for that.
Once we are officially in business working together, I am available for calls, text messages, and emails Monday through Friday from 10:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. EST time.
PLEASE NOTE: If you call and I am working with another client, please leave me a voicemail or text message, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
HOW DO I GO ABOUT HIRING YOU? DO I HAVE TO SIGN A CONTRACT? DO YOU ASK FOR MONEY UPFRONT?
Once we have our discovery call, I will send you a proposal with the scope of what we discussed, my fee, and anything else we talked about on the call about your project.
As a professional copywriter, I do require that we both sign a contract to make our working relationship official and legal.
I do require a 50% upfront deposit along with the signed contract. This lets me know that you’re serious about your marketing efforts for your business, and it also reserves me as the copywriter for your project.
Once a contract is signed and I receive the deposit, we will officially be in business together.
